Samsung

2019

While at Magnetic, I help pitch concepts and designs to Samsung for a multi-city tour of pop-up stores that were meant to advertise their latest offerings, including the S10 phone and its flagship features, such as online gaming and high-quality photography.

For months, my team and I crafted a modular graphic system for container-like structures of varying configurations, depending on the size of the market and nature of the venue. This turned out to be one of the most logistically demanding projects I ever worked on, as we had to coordinate with vendors from all over the country on everything from exterior wall signage, to swag, to handouts.

Once all graphic files were printed, I helped oversee multi-day installations in Times Square and Millennium Park in Chicago, sometimes in freezing temperatures, which presented unique challenges, such as having to warm the wall panels with heat guns so that our graphic vinyl could adhere to them.
