2017 – 2018
Over the course of a couple of years, Oculus and Magnetic put together more than a dozen international events promoting the latest products and content in VR, ranging from intimate press-only demos in LA to public product releases in the heart of London. In all cases, my team put special care into curating the physical environments to be just as exciting as the reality inside the headsets.
From designing the attendee journey to creating the final printed assets, I helped bring to life unique look-and-feels for each event. Being part of a small team working on what was still seen as somewhat of an indie industry at the time (and knowing what that means in term of budget), we often had to find creative solutions to work around tight budgets and timelines, not to mention navigating venues of all shapes and sizes and making changes on-the-fly.
